The  Creative Arts curriculum area offers an innovative, forward thinking and of course, creative curriculum that not only serves to provide students with quality artistic, musical and performance learning, but also through the unique   ‘Creativity’ lesson, an opportunity to learn and to apply Creative skills that are transferable across school and ultimately in the workplace.

The curriculum area has again gained the ‘Artsmark’ award in recognition of the quality, quantity  and breadth of opportunities that are offered and accessed, both in and out of the  classroom environment.
The curriculum offer is broad, covering Music, Drama and Performing Arts. We offer level 2  qualifications in Music, Performing Arts in years 10 and 11 and in the Sixth Form we offer the same subjects at level 3.

Our ‘Creativity’ curriculum has received positive praise for its innovation from local, national and international sources.

The Main School hall is also used for whole school productions; Oliver, Grease, the Wizard of Oz and this year ‘Annie’ Facilities  Students benefit from purpose built, well-resourced classrooms and working areas.
